Here are my best 5 lighting tips to help you make the most of your space:
- Turn on every light fixture and lamp in the house for all showings. Buyers don't like dark, dreary spaces.
- Open the window treatments and let natural light flood the space. Unless the view out the window is really awful, let the light in.
- Increase the wattage in most of your lamps and fixtures. A little more bulb power really brightens up dark colored rooms. Crisp white light is better than blue or yellow tints.
- Replace any spiral fluorescent bulbs with pretty clear or frosted bulbs. Save the energy efficient bulbs for your next house.
- Chandeliers and pendants should be an appropriate size for the space. Chandeliers should hang approximately 30” above the table and wall sconces or fixtures should be just above eye level.

Selling house need to sell house fast so that a person must be work in that to impress the buyers. In this sense it need to work well for promoting the business online.
Lighting is very important when trying to sell a home, and something everyone should pay attention to when trying to make your home look as appealing as possible. One great tip I wanted to offer for homeowners is to consider residential window tinting for your home, which is becoming very appealing to those buying homes. It gives your home a contemporary and appealing look while also providing benefits such as UV protection and heat protection.
I do a lot of residential tinting in Fort Worth TX, and we're seeing increased demand for commercial and residential tinting in the DFW area.
Great tips! I would absolutely agree that it's important for homeowners to turn all of their light fixtures on when showing a home. Buyers are more drawn to light interiors, ligh twood, and well-lit spaces.
