Home Security - WiFi

Would you leave your front door unlocked 24 hours a day? Too many folks are doing something almost as dangerous.
Wireless home networks are everywhere. If you drive or walk your neighborhood with your iPad or iPhone WiFi connection turned on, you'll likely find dozens of names, many of them listed generically as 'home', 'linksys', 'netgear', or simply as the owner's last name. And many of these networks are unprotected.

If you've noticed your home internet wireless connection running slower, you might want to check out this article titled "How Can I Find Out If Someone's Using My Wireless Network." It offers excellent advice on protecting yourself and shows you how to see if people are leeching your internet connection.

You should protect your network (and the data on your computer) just like you lock the door of your house.
