King Tut does Dallas

King Tut brings the ancient bling to Dallas as the official exhibit opens at the Dallas Museum of Art today. I got a sneak peak last night at a private dinner & tour hosted by Northern Trust. Very nice. Like dining with the Pharaohs (in suits).

For some reason I thought this was the remake of a visit to Dallas back in the 80s. But that was the Ramses exhibit - both Egyptian and both more than 3,000 years old, so that might explain the confusion. The exhibit will be here for a few months, so bone up on your history with a visit. Watch their short film (complete with 3-d glasses) first if you can. [where: 75230]
