Sad news. The Shell station at Preston Royal has closed. The pumps and all disappeared overnight. I am so disappointed because David, who ran the station for years, was such a nice guy. He and his crew were a cheerful fixture at that intersection. It must have been one of the last full service stations in Dallas and I’m really going to miss it.
